Doodsoorzaak: Cancer Notitie: Ontario/Webster: Died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, age 73, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband John "Jack" and brother-in-law, Ellis Wamsley. She leaves her sons, Kevin (Tonie) and Kirk (Pam); daughters, Kim (Sonny) VanNorman & Kathy (Harvey) Impson; grandchildren, Justin (Jenn) Van Norman, Derek & Jenna Short; step-grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Jessica Cannon, Nick O'Neil, Crystal & Amber Short; great-grandchildren, Caleb & Jacob Smith & Emma Cannon; 2 sisters, Doris Wamsley & Georgina (Bill) Minier; brother, Daryl Boyce; nieces & nephews. Special long-time friend, Judy Harris. Retired after 23 yrs. of driving school bus for Wayne Central School Dist., Barbara was a long time member of the Union Hill Fire Dept. Ladies Aux., & the South East Bible Baptist Church, Penfield, where she also taught Sunday School. She was a very active volunteer, most recently with Ronald McDonald House. She loved listening to church music, crafts and spending the past 2 winters in Florida with her daughter, Kim. Barbara gifted her body to U of R Anatomical Gift Program. A memorial service will be held at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave. Webster, on Saturday, September 15 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barbara's name may be directed to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave. Rochester NY 14626.
