Notitie: Obituary Obituary Himrod, NJ: Age 72, formerly of East Rochester passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, in Hamilton Square, NY. Friends and family may call from 5-8pm Thursday, April 25 at the Baird Funeral Home 36 Water Street, Dundee, NY; where a funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, (April 26). Burial will follow in Grove Mount Cemetery, Himrod, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Himrod Fire Department, First Responders P.O. Box 112, Himrod, NY 14842. Sharon was born Sept. 13, 1940, and married Raymond "Teeb" Wink in 1978. She and Ray moved to Seneca Lake where she worked and retired from Prejean Winery. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a generous friend to all who knew her. She loved to cook, was a loyal Yankees fan, and enjoyed crossword puzzles, word scrambles, and playing Angry Birds and solitaire for hours. Above all, Sharon loved to laugh. Her friends and family were never far from her thoughts and she will be missed dearly. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond, on April 27, 2010, Sharon is survived by her brothers, Ronald (Donna Lowry), Dale, and Gary (Connie) Borkhuis; her five children, Laura Heimes (Douglas Conners), Robert and David Heimes, James (Kathleen) Wink and Patricia (Raymond) Jones; 8 grandchildren, Patrick Conners, Brittney, Austin, Madison, and Jacob Heimes, Lisa Maria (Philip) Warburton, Natalie (Timothy) Liebert and Nicholas (Constantina Nikoloudias, fiancée) Jones, along with several nieces and nephews. Oorzaak: Cancer Notitie: Obituary. Obituary. West Walworth: Tuesday, April 30, age 71, peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a hard fought battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, Claude and Helen Borkhuis and his sister, Sharon Wink. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Connie Frey Borkhuis; 4 children, Michael Borkhuis, Rhonda Borkhuis, Michelle (Brian Whitcomb) Borkhuis, David (Gianna) Borkhuis; 7 grandchildren, Jonah, Liam and Sam Whitcomb, Catalina, Marianna and Calvin Borkhuis and Macarana Dias; brothers, Ronald (Donna Lowry) and Dale Borkhuis; several nieces and nephews. Gary retired from Eastman Kodak Co. He served on the Walworth Town Board and owned and operated Quality Tree Planters, Fairway Car Wash and Evergreen Hills Self Storage. He was a long time member of the Pultneyville Mariners Sailing Club. Friends may call 12-3PM Saturday, May 11th at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster with services to be held immediately following. A celebration of Gary's life will continue at West Walworth Fire Hall, 3870 West Walworth Rd., Walworth, NY 14502. He is survived by wife Donna, son Jerry Borkhuis (Peggy) of Honeoye Falls, NY and Jimmy Borkhuis of Jonesboro, TN. Brother Dale Borkhuis, Charlotte, NC. Grandson J.T Borkhuis, Athens, AL, Great Grandson Jaxon Borkhuis, Step-Son Dean Rainbolt (Dawn) Hampton, TN, Step-Daughter Kimberly Taylor (Tony) Elizabethton, TN, Step Grandson Elijah Rainbolt. Special little buddy Adreyan Burrow. And several nieces and nephews. Ron was a Kodak retiree, also a thirty-second degree Mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Lima, NY and an active member of Lynn Valley Baptist Church. He was active in the Geneses Valley Antique Car Club and the AACA Car Club. A celebration of Ron's life will be held September 13, 6:00 pm at Lynn Valley Baptist Church, Elizabethton TN. |
